Tetrapods

The word tetrapod refers to four limbed vertebrate life forms.  In this section we have images of frogs and they have two arms and two legs.  Other tetrapod's include reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Notice that this frog skeleton has a backbone.  This makes it a member of the vertebrate group.  It also has four limbs.  It has two arms and two legs.  This makes it a member of the tetrapod group.  Reptiles, birds, and mammals also have a backbone and four limbs and are part of the vertebrate and tetrapod groups.
